YouTube football team Hashtag United

Are you surprised? As popular as it is, quite a number of people online are not aware of this  average footballers living the professional footballer dream called Hashtag United. All thanks to the presence of YouTube to the amateur club.

Captain of the club, Spencer Owen was already a successful footballer and gaming YouTuber in his own right, and now has nearly two million followers. The squad is made up of group of mates, most of whom have day jobs off the pitch and unrellated  to sport.

They have played at the UK's top stadiums including Wembley and the Etihad, as well as the O2 Arena and Everton's training ground including tours at US, Serbia, Ireland and Jersey.

They have their own kit which is custom-made by sportswear giant Umbro and have an average of 700,000 views per match.
