Facebook is granting Free WiFi Access.

Facebook has released a Find Wi-Fi to iPhone and Android devices around the world. This feature allows people search for places that have free internet based on their locations. According to the company, it said:

"We launched Find Wi-Fi in a handful of countries last year and found it's not only helpful for people who are traveling or on-the-go, but especially useful in areas where cellular data is scarce”

Find Wi-Fi requires you to enable Location History. When turned on, it regularly adds your location to the Activity Log on Facebook, even if you're not in the app.

For anyone to access the feature, one needs to have data. Then to view available wifi hotspots in your area, tap the "More" tab in the Facebook app and scroll down to "Find Wi-Fi." (Facebook pulls public wifi information from businesses' Pages -- that means it will only show you a place has public wifi if the business has shared that with Facebook.)

But people should be careful when connecting to any free internet. Hackers are on rampage and could intercept everyone's traffic.
